AN ARTISTIC AND DIVERSE COLLECTION of international interest which included Chinese altar tables and doors, Balinese shell decorated boxes, pre-Colombian figures, a French tile top dinning set, eccentrically decorated Irish pine furniture, modern paintings, collage, 18th-19th engravings, a large collection of Indian reverse-painted temple pictures, and many visually stimulating objects assembled by a world traveler. The second part of the auction offered property from various owners including period and reproduction furniture; a collection of Orientalia which includes scrolls, porcelain, pottery, bronze, ivory, wood carvings and cloisonné from the Sung period to the present; art of various styles and periods; room size and area rugs.
