AN ECLECTIC ARRAY OF PROPERTY
from a Columbia County collector, a Palisades, NY estate,
several NYC estates and property from a South Hampton collector.
The sale contained a large group of decorative and antique
furniture including several dining tables and sets of chairs
as well as 19th and 20th century art. The sale also included
porcelain, decoration and silver plate.
There was a special session at the beginning of the sale
with over 30 lots of the remaining inventory from Marjorie
Lawrence, “The Mother of Pillows” who once operated
the fashionable Pillowry in New York’s Upper East Side.
